KidsRights jubilee book ‘Changemakers’

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the 20th presentation of the International Children’s Peace Prize took place in Amsterdam. The prize is an initiative of KidsRights, an international children’s rights organization that was founded and is chaired by former Children’s Ombudsman and Constantinian knight Marc Dullaert. The winner this time was the 17-year-old Afghan Nila Ibrahimi, who is committed to the rights of women and girls in her homeland. Nila received the prize, with a project budget of €100,000, from Nobel Prize winner Tawakkol Karman during a ceremony in De Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam. During the ceremony, Marc Dullaert presented the anniversary book Changemakers about the 20 Children’s Peace Prize winners and their initiatives. The anniversary book is for sale in bookstores, but to make it accessible to children and young people worldwide, it is also distributed digitally.

The Order supported the distribution of the jubilee book with a contribution of 500 euros. This allows hundreds of copies to be made available digitally to young people all over the world.
